Re:     Health Care Providers Immunity from Liability Act

Dear People's Health Clinic Volunteer:

Thank you for your willingness to come to volunteer at the People's Health Clinic. Without your involvement, as well as the many others who give their time, our mission to serve the uninsured would be much more difficult.

Attached to this memorandum is a copy of the "Health Care Providers Immunity from Liability Act, Title 58, Chapter 13" as amended by session laws of Utah 2006 and issued May 1, 2006. Please review this so that you are aware of the provisions of this Act, who it protects from liability, and under what circumstances.
