MORE WAYS TO GIVE!
YOUR SUPPORT IS OUR LIFE SUPPORT
There are numerous ways to plan a gift for the future. Immediate donations of cash, appreciated stock or property can build the clinic’s current investment. Later gifts such as a beneficiary designation in a retirement account or life insurance policy, or a charitable bequest of your estate can provide a lasting impact to People’s Health Clinic.
Making a Legacy gift to our nonprofit is simple, rewarding and incredibly powerful. Please take a moment to read through the various Ways To Give as leaving a bequest will support the hard-working individuals who take care of our resort town for tomorrow and for years to come.

A Gift For Today
Retirement accounts increasingly have become the resource of choice for individuals who wish to benefit important organizations, such as People’s Health Clinic – either at death, during life or both. A retirement plan can be a tax-efficient and simple way of including our clinic in your estate plan. The best method is to name PHC as a beneficiary on your plan's beneficiary designation form. A charity that is named as the beneficiary does not pay income or estate taxes on the distribution.
You may also be able to make a gift to charity with a "qualified charitable distribution" or "IRA charitable rollover" from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA), and take advantage of tax savings. Under Section 408(d) of the Internal Revenue Code, Americans over the age of 70 ½ may distribute an amount, not to exceed $100,000 in a calendar year, from an IRA to public charities, tax-free.
A charitable gift annuity involves a contract between a donor and a People’s Health Clinic, whereby the donor transfers cash or property to the charity in exchange for a partial tax deduction and a lifetime stream of annual income from the charity. When the donor dies People’s Health Cl is designated the gift so it may use it for operations.
